Bread & Butter Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
- One thick sliced loaf
- 3 Eggs
- 10oz Caster Sugar
- 2 pints double cream
- 1 pint milk
- 1 vanilla stick (split & deseeded )
- 2 large tablespoons of Marmalade
- 8 oz raisins
- 6 oz sultanas
- 4 oz soften butter
Method
- Take the bread out of the Kleeneze bread keeper.
- Butter on both sides with soften butter and place one layer of bread into the Kleeneze roaster tray.
- Sprinkle with ½ of the sugar and dried fruit.
- Repeat layering process until all the bread sugar and fruits are used.
- To make the custard, place the eggs, milk and cream into a Kleeneze glass bowl and whisk.
- Add vanilla seeds
- Soak the bread and fruits in the custard mix for about 15 mins until all the custard is absorbed. Add any remaining custard.
- Bake in a hot oven gas mark 6, 175 degrees for 45 mins.
- Remove and brush with warmed marmalade.
- Serve with custard or whipped cream.
